Maddie Walling, a junior public relations major and a political science minor at Texas State University, held an internship during the spring 2015 semester. As a creative intern for PhiredUp! Productions Maddie was given the task of creating new social excellence dares. PhiredUp! Productions is a Greek productions company that believes fraternities and sororities change the world by helping people become the best versions of themselves. Maddie is now involved with her another internship, Harris Media. Harris media is a communications and digital marketing firm that is nationally-recognized for working with businesses, non-profits, and political entities. Maddie is very involved with Greek life on her campus. She currently holds the position of First Vice President on Texas State’s Panhellenic Executive Council. Previously Maddie was the assistant ritual chair for Zeta Tau Alpha and vice president of communications for her fall 2013 pledge class. Although Maddie is involved in extracurricular activities she still believes that her education is the most important. She has been inducted into two Greek honors societies, Rho Lambda and Order of Omega, has been on the Dean’s List for three consecutive semesters, and is part of the Honors College at Texas State. Maddie would not have been able to achieve any of this without her strong commitment to academics.
